Parmesan Crusted Chicken Fillet
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
For 5 minutes, heat your air fryer up to 375F 190C
Mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and black pepper with the Parmesan cheese in a shallow dish
Combine well
The flour should go in a second shallow dish, and the eggs should go in a third shallow dish
First, coat each chicken fillet in flour and shake off any extra
Then, dip it in the beaten eggs and let any extra run off
Finally, cover it with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture and press it onto the chicken to stick
Spray cooking spray on the air fryer basket just enough to keep food from sticking
Put the chicken fillets in the air fryer basket that has already been heated
Make sure they are all in a single layer and don't touch
Air fry the chicken fillets at 375F 190C for 12 to 15 minutes, turning them over halfway through, or until they are golden brown and the temperature inside reaches 165F 74C
If you want, you can serve the Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Fillets hot with fresh herbs on top
