Camp Firewood Brownie Pie
Camp Firewood Brownie Pie is a rich dessert that is great for camping or spending the night by the fire. It takes the richness of brownies and the comforting familiarity of pie to make a dessert that kids and adults will both love.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup 225g unsalted butter
- 1 cup 200g granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup 150g light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup 90g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup 125g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup 175g semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Prepare a 9-inch pie plate by greasing it
Put the butter in a saucepan and melt it over low heat
Take it off the heat and mix in both sugars until they are well mixed
Beat the eggs and vanilla extract together in a large bowl
Slowly add the butter and sugar mixture and mix it in until it's smooth
Put the flour, cocoa powder, and salt through a sieve
Don't mix any further than that
Add the chocolate chips and mix them in
Put the batter into the pie dish that has been prepared and spread it out evenly
After the oven is hot, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the middle is still a little gooey
Let it cool down before cutting it up and serving it
